Ellis Cellar: Poetry is written in verse. Prose (novel)/ Drama are written in essay form. Poetry has a wide range of style, from E. E. Cummings insistance that everything should be in small print, to every line must rhyme, to free-verse. Because of the diversity, there is a general freedom to be more expressive in poetry.
