Inge Mclaurine: I don't want to sound rude either, but you need to ask yourself, is this for your benefit or there's and when it comes to respect is it yours or really others. Okay with that being said, it is really simple just let them know, "I need to talk to you about something, I don't want to hurt your feelings, What I am going to say is with the best intentions", then tell them what you think. You already know, 'you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink'. Now if they stop playing card games, what will fill the void, you need to help them with this too, I believe it is very noble of you to be caring enough to want to help your friend, so I hope you are up for the challenge. Nikki Sypult: We each march to the beat of our own drum, at least we should. If your aquaintance isn't asking for help, let him/her be. You can't force your opinions onto someone else.
