Gertrude Darke: If you're looking to watch your weight, try liquor instead of just beer. Less carbs because beer has yeast in it. "Light" beers are what you should keep an eye out for ;)
Madie Strople: n/a beer is not dif. in calories. A goon lite beer is bud light.
Robbie Starchman: No, no longer unavoidably. The caloric content cloth of any type of beer relies upon upon the alcohol point. the better the alcohol content cloth, the extra energy it could have. the colour of dark beer is the end results of roasting the malt until eventually now brewing. This technique does no longer upload or subtract any energy from the total product. inspite of the undeniable fact that, a 24oz. beer could have two times as many energy as a 12oz. one. analyze into this phenomenon is ongoing....Show more
Penelope Armond: Beer does not have more calories because of the yeast. It has more calories because there is a lot of unfermented sugar in it. When you brew beer you have! a malt which is a very thick syrup. That is the food for the yeast to consume and turn into alcohol and CO2. When the yeast build up a certain amount of alcohol and CO2 gas they die. They die before they have consumed all of those sugars you gave them to begin with. This is why most beers are flavored with hops. Hops are extremely bitter. The bitterness balances out the sweet taste of the malt. Of course, you can make what I call "cheerleader beers" and ciders which are sweet tasting. If you really want to save calories while drinking become a wine drinker. Dry wines only have trace amounts of sugar left in them unlike beer. Almost all of the calories in wine are alcohol calories, not sugar calories. There is a difference to your body because it can use both types to burn for energy but only sugar calories can be stored as fat for later, and no alcohol does not "turn into sugar" in your blood.Of course hard liquors also have no sugar left in them, but most people mix their ! hard liquors with juices or sugary mixes making it worse than ! beer for sugar content.I have nothing against beer, but if you are concerned by calorie content you should not be drinking beer on a daily basis. It should only be for once in awhile....Show more
Heidi Creselious: Why would you want a non- alcohol beer? Get 65 cal. Miller light...chug a lug!
