No sound from ps3 via optical cable.....help!!?

Sang Hanafin: on ps3 go to settings, then scroll to sound settings, then select audio output settings and select Digital Out(Optical) and press x. then tick all the boxes and press right button and it will say something about not compatible speakers damaging speakers....ignore it and press x then u will see a summary of ur settings..just press x again and there u have it.U might need to set ur home cinema system to play audio via optical input but if it works then its fine no need to change anything....Show more
